Nolak's life is taken on unintentionally when she is introduced to an experienced Kolkata-based lawyer Arindam. Arindam was a lawyer who spent the majority of his life fighting a matter that was dragging on for more than twenty years. The man had made an oath to not get married until he brought peace to the people of Mourigram. However, fate finally brought the two souls closer due to an agreement made by Nolak's father.The story mainly demonstrates the fact that love transcends the age, race or creed. This story showcases how love is able to develop among individuals from different backgrounds, even without the help from the community.
