Topobroto along with Nayan’s mother follows Dripto to his vehicle. Nayan’s mom begs Dripto not to ruin Nayan’s family. Dripto declares that he had did not want to marry Nayan. The man also claims that Topobroto has blackmailed and tricked the man to marry Nayan. He is therefore unable to be a part of the ceremony from the heart. Therefore the Topobroto’s lies ruin two lives. Dripto eventually touches the goddess’s feet and reaffirms his vows.
