While they are during training sessions and games, they start to develop feelings for each other , and eventually begin to fall in love. But, the interview Jannat is scheduled for at the top law school in Singapore is scheduled for the same day that is also the soccer tournament. Neville is accused by Jannat as being shallow, and removes her from the team , and ends any contact with her. Devastated, she departs to Singapore.
