Bhumi does not want to go home, and is still unable to recall the incident which took place. Bhumi is unsure of Mukta Devi the reason why she didn’t scold Sheshamma to stop her from blaming her the theft. Mukta Devi tells her she made an error in thinking she was Seshamma however, she discovered the facts. Mukta Devi further tells the woman the fact that Rao Bahadur refused to eat until she returns home.
