Roshni becomes excited after her mother tells her that their meeting with Siddharth’s parents went very well. She invites them to continue with their engagement plans. Roshni is unaware that her mother lies about her and has been using a ruse to fool her with Krrish. Then, Siddharth comes to Roshni’s bedroom to see her in secret. The next day, Durgadevi contacts Siddharth’s residence and taunts Siddharth and his family by talking about their indigence. In the following days, Durgadevi somehow makes Roshni question Siddharth as well as her parents, and convinces her that they’re soliciting the dowry. At first, Roshni is skeptical that Siddharth’s family is asking for any dowry .
