Bharathi is the name given to the girl who was born on the 15th of August which is why she was given her nickname Bharathi. Bharathi is similar to water. Ramappa is a kanjoos-man. Ramappa survives by wife Jayamma as well as his children Bhavani, Bharathi and Sanjana. Bhavani is deaf and dumb. Therefore, the couple has plans to marry Bharathi who is the main character. The problem is that Bharathi is attracted to Manoj the young man from the that same region, however from the city. Manoj is the child of Nanjundappa and Kaveri. Manoj’s younger brother Bharath is currently in the police department located far away from home. The youngest child Sharath is a college boy. So Manojis the son who has adapted to his situation and manages the farm as well as various household activities.Without having any knowledge of Bharti’s affection for Manoj the parents of Bharti have been trying to come up with the right alliance to Bharathi. However, Kaveri has been trying to locate an appropriate girl to marry Bharath but is struggling due to because he’s working in Police force.Only following the marriage to Bharath, Manoj can raise the issue of his relationship with Bharathi. However, on a certain day Manoj is forced to tie the thaali of Bharathi in a temple because of fear, and tell Bharathi that following the wedding of his brother, he’ll speak to his parents and bring the bride home, complete with formalities of a sister-in-law. In the meantime, they choose not to reveal the secrets. However, the secret is revealed to those who are deaf or dumb Bhavani! Bharathi swears to her and promised not to divulge the secret. As time passes, the things unfold to the point that Bharathi required to wed Bharath who was the cousin of Manoj. Manoj is now a brother-in-law as well! The day of the wedding because of a lack of trust, Bharath could not tie the thali. The marriage is marred by a jumble of the person who did the tie? (Actually the answer was Manoj However, the identity of Manoj it will be revealed at a later stage).Bharat isn’t going to be able to take Bharathi to work. Therefore, she must face Manoj daily. However, Bharathi is such a girl who accepts the fact that she will take on the role of daughter-in law by every methods. Being a water-loving girl her, she adapts to any scenario with the belief that the importance of life is greater than love. However, she is driven mad over the circumstance. Then, one day Kaveri discovers that Bharat already has another family member at work. Kaveri felt guilty, and she is determined to end the situation. What’s her plan of action?
